Chartered Building Surveyor qualified 1988. Experience gained in Local Authority Building Control between 1979 - 1982 and various Private Practice in Essex until 1993. Founder of Mark Halliday Associates in 1993. Director of Halliday West Associates and Halliday West Limited from 1994.
Mark Halliday specializes in computer aided architectural design for schemes of new build, alteration, extension and conversion to all types of property. He is experienced in obtaining Planning Permission, Building Regulations and other Local Authority consents for a vast range of projects together with Project Coordination and Contract Administration in addition to the full range of Building Surveying disciplines including surveys and dilapidations matters.

Mark specializes in matters arising under the Party Wall Act. He is also experienced in the full range of Building Surveying disciplines, in particular those relating to Listed Buildings and schemes of repair and maintenance. He received a diploma in Building Conservation from The College of Estate Management in 1996.
